Pastor Brian Gunter was deeply involved with the Pro-Life lobby in Louisiana until he realized many of them were NOT working to completely abolish abortion. In fact, he found out they were working AGAINST equal protection for preborn babies in Louisiana. This is his story.

Virgil Walker of G3 Ministries brings light to how the term Pro-Life has come to imply something other than what it seems at face value. While the Church is one body, one bride of Christ, Walker discusses the history and effects of abortion and fatherlessness in the black church. He shares the story of his own family and how his mother chose life.

Pastor Jeff Durbin points us to the Great Commission as the foundation of the fight to abolish abortion. He draws out the biblical reasons for the conflict between the ideas of Abolition and the Pro-Life movement.

Bradley Pierce addresses the true nature of abortion as sin and the fruit of sin. He exhorts the Church to understand that if we are going to have revival in this land we must have reformation. We must work for 1) reformation of sexual morality which begins with the Church, 2) reformation of vibrant, salty, faithful, biblical churches, 3) reformation of a correct view of government and our relationship to it, 4) reformation of true love.

Pastors Brett Bagget, Jon Speed, Brian Ottinger, and Phil George share biblical wisdom and their own experiences to answer questions related to the involvement of the Church in abolishing abortion.

Pastor Blake Gideon was actively involved in the Pro-Life movement in Oklahoma including active oppostition to abolition bills of equal protection. He shares his story of repentance and exhorts the Church to tear down the "altar" of anti-biblical Pro-Life legislation and be faithful in obeying God's commands in the fight to abolish abortion.

Pastor Brian Ottinger brings a message on working in unity with brothers and sisters in Christ to abolish abortion. He encourages us to work together in a coordinated effort demonstrating unity in the body as we take on the great task of abolishing abortion.

Pastor Bill Ascol addresses how pastors can preach about abortion in their churches to give the message that is needed today. The need to bring a complete message of both the law of God and the love and mercy of God is desperately needed in our time.

Dear Church Leaders,

Roe is gone, but abortion has not yet been abolished.

In spite of what the news claims, the laws of every single state in America still allow for the slaughter of preborn children made in the image of God.

This fight is far from over, and your congregation needs you to lead and equip them for the battles that still lay ahead.

The success of efforts to abolish abortion in states across the country depends heavily on the faithfulness of the Church.

Will the Church of Jesus practice love, mercy, and justice toward our preborn neighbors, or will we cross to the other side of the road and pass them by?

The Church needs godly church leaders, submitted to God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, in this fight right now.

Please join us on Friday, August 19, in Houston, Texas for this unique opportunity to learn from other pastors and leaders and to connect with other church leaders who are active in the fight to abolish abortion.

ADMISSION IS FREE. Please register to attend.

Foundation to Abolish Abortion Church Leaders Conference

Friday, August 19, 2022
See additional information on speakers and location above.

  • Registration is FREE. Attendees are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.

  • No. Although those who hold office in the church carry special responsibilities, you do not need to be ordained or hold a title in your church to attend this conference. Committed and knowledgeable lay leaders are also an important part of the work to abolish abortion.

  • Yes. You are welcome to bring anyone who you believe would be blessed by attending along with you. Please make sure you include them when you RSVP.

  • Yes. A boxed lunch will be provided at the conference venue for those who RSVP. This will be a good opportunity for fellowship with other attendees. If you want to help contribute, please feel free to donate.

  • No. But if you know someone who you think needs to be there, we encourage you to sponsor their travel expenses if you are able.

  • Because the fight to abolish abortion must be led by the Church. Jesus rebuked the religious leaders of His day for tithing on their mint and cumin while simultaneously neglecting the “weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness.” Church leaders of our day should take this warning seriously and work to faithfully exhort and instruct their congregations in what it means to practice “justice and mercy” toward helpless preborn children in our day. The FAA Church Leaders Conference will help equip you to do this and allow you to fellowship in-person with other church leaders who are engaged in the effort to abolish abortion.

  • Because Jesus commanded us to live by the Golden Rule. Roe was overturned, but abortion has not yet been abolished in any of the 50 states. Equal protection of the laws must be extended to preborn children before they will truly be protected by the same laws that protect born people like us. To fulfill the Second Greatest commandment and the Golden Rule, we must do for innocent preborn babies as we would want done for us.

  • The word politics refers to the act of getting someone elected. But it can also be used in reference to policy. This is not a conference about running political election campaigns from the pulpit of your church.

This conference will help pastors and church leaders understand how they can operate within their calling as pastors and leaders to teach and train their congregations in what it means to, “cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless…” (Is. 1:16-17).

The Bible says, “Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand it completely.” (Prov. 28:5). This is why the Church must exercise her prophetic voice and speak from God’s Word on issues of policy like abortion. The flock of Christ should not be going to worldly-wise instructors for their understanding of justice for their preborn neighbors.

The Church needs godly church leaders, submitted to God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, in this fight right now.

  • Yes. While a church's federal tax status could arguably be threatened if it as an organization explicitly supported or opposed a political candidate for office, nothing restricts pastors and other church leaders from speaking about current events, law, policy, justice, ethics, morality, and a thousand other things related to loving our neighbors as ourselves and seeking justice for the fatherless. Church leaders must be speaking about these things so Christians can understand how to think and act biblically about them.

RSVP to Attend

The conference is free but we ask you to RSVP at the button below to register.
