FAA Video Editor / Producer

Job Title: Video Editor/Producer

Position Type: Employee or Contractor

Job Description Summary: This position will be responsible for producing educational and engaging video content for FAA social media and YouTube channels.

Compensation: Starting at $15-$30 per hour, commensurate with skills and experience.

Hours: Starting part-time, with the plan to increase to full-time. For the right candidate, we would consider going straight to full-time. Position may provide travel opportunities to assist with recording events (not required).

Location: This is a remote position and will require collaboration via Slack, Frame.io, etc

Responsibilities may include: 

• Selecting video clips from an archive of long-form videos to produce standalone short-form content

• Seeking and curating third party content for use in FAA video content (i.e. reaction or explainer videos)

• Enhancing videos with graphics, animations, effects, sound, and other elements

• Transforming raw video footage into captivating and polished content

• Making editorial decisions to improve storytelling through careful selection of clips

• Producing multiple versions of content formatted to suit social media platforms (X, Facebook, etc)

• Ensuring video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent style

• Adding captions and designing video thumbnails

Qualifications: 

• Experience with video editing and production (please list any applicable software you have experience with and show samples of your work below)

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment

• A sharp eye for detail and design

• Creative mindset and storytelling ability

• Solid grasp of the abolitionist vs. mainstream Pro-Life positions
