• State Representative Abigail Griffin filed Legislative Document 975, “An Act to Repeal Laws Allowing Abortion and to Criminalize Abortion.”

  Note: While the bill as introduced has a number of issues, including lack of clarity, it does define “human being” to include “a human being beginning at the moment of conception” for the entire state criminal code, which includes homicide and assault provisions. The bill does not address civil wrongful death statutes.
