The North Dakota House of Representatives voted to keep abortion legal in the state. By a vote of 77-16, the House rejected HB 1373, the North Dakota Prenatal Equal Protection Act

Following last week’s hearing on HB 1373, the North Dakota Prenatal Equal Protection Act, nine Republicans on the Human Services Committee sided with Planned Parenthood and the Democrats to oppose equal protection for preborn children.

Yesterday, the North Dakota Prenatal Equal Protection Act, HB 1373, received a hearing in the House Human Services Committee. Foundation to Abolish Abortion was on the ground at the North Dakota state capitol to engage with and educate legislators on the need to provide equal protection to preborn babies.

Committee hearing scheduled for HB 1373 on February 5th. This bill would abolish abortion in North Dakota.

State Representative Lori VanWinkle filed HB 1373 which would abolish abortion in North Dakota by providing the equal protection of the laws to every preborn child.
